Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance or Client will be subject to a $45.00 cancellation fee. Being more than 15 minutes late to a session will be considered a cancellation.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we may need to cancel sessions. We will notify the Client as early as feasibly possible of the cancellation and will coordinate to reschedule the meeting.
Because our services are rendered in an in-person or digital format, and cannot be physically returned, our fees are non-refundable.
Payment is accepted upfront via online payment. Payment is due upon services can be rendered.
Each coaching session is one (1) hour in duration. Resume consultations are 30 minutes. For an added fee, additional time may be added to the session per the Client’s request. Sessions will occur via video conferencing. The Client will need access to a video conferencing account and a functioning camera with audio. The Client must complete the electronic Session Request Form prior to the session.
The Parties acknowledge that any disparaging comments by either Party about the other Party are likely to substantially depreciate the business or personal reputation of the Parties. The Parties agree to act in good faith so as not to harm the business or personal reputation of the other Party in any way. The Parties further agree not to directly or indirectly defame, disparage, or publicly criticize the services, business, integrity, veracity or reputation of the other Party, its owners, officers, directors, or employees in any forum directly or through any medium of communication. The Parties agree not to, without limitation, directly or indirectly, through executive officers or directors, defame, disparage, or publicly criticize the integrity, veracity or reputation of the other Party.
The Client agrees to indemnify, defend and hold Empowered Engagement, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, loss of income, earnings, compensatory claims, punitive damages, loss of consortium, rejection from an institute of higher learning, loss of a position, any and all damages resulting from a denial of a position, or denial of an interview for a position made by any third party due to or arising, the violation of this Agreement, or infringement by the Client, of any intellectual property or any other right of any person or entity.
In no event will Empowered Engagement be liable to the Client or to any third party for incidental, indirect, exemplary, special or consequential damages, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising out of or otherwise relating to the services or the use or performance of the service, even if Empowered Engagement has been advised of the possibility or likelihood of such damages. Without limiting the foregoing, in no event will the liability of Empowered Engagement to the Client for any claim whatsoever related to the service or the services or any order or this agreement, including without limitation, any cause of action sounding in contract, tort or strict liability, exceed the purchase fees received by Empowered Engagement.
The Client agrees that though Empowered Engagement strives to provide professional advice, tools, and ideas, we cannot be responsible for changing market conditions, job posting changes, Client qualifications, skillsets, willingness to implement their action plan, or other factors that may affect a job search. Ultimately Client success in the job market is solely their responsibility. We make no expression of implied guarantees of employment. No verbal or written promise or guarantee of any job or employment, promotion, job interview, or career/educational advancement is made or implied under the terms of this contract.
In order to ensure a pleasant, professional-caliber environment while utilizing our services, we strictly prohibit use of hateful, profane, or vulgar language within any communication and/or documentation. This includes, but is not limited to in-person conversations, video conferences, messaging, text within documents, live chat, and phone consultations. Violations of this policy are subject to immediate discontinuation of service without refund.
Empowered Engagement offers limited Client support via digital meetings or email. In order to provide accurate documentation with Clients, our primary mode of Client communication is email.
Project timeline will be discussed in advance between Empowered Engagement and the Client and is contingent upon scope of work, date we receive the completed Resume Question Form, and other factors. While we strive to provide Clients with their resume within a reasonable timeframe, we cannot guarantee a specific time for completion due to unforeseen circumstances or other reasons. We only provide estimated timeframes. If the Client does not respond to the “Resume Question Form” or does not complete it in its entirety within 15 days, their resume package will be considered void of any further editing obligations.
Payment is accepted upfront via online payment. Payment is due before the final product can be sent to the Client.
Empowered Engagement does not guarantee compatibility of computer files with Client operating systems or that documents will retain their original formatting features. Please note that Empowered Engagement does not provide technical support on document formatting. Edited resumes will be returned to the Client upon receipt of final payment.
With the exception of correcting inaccuracies, subsequent revisions will be available to the Client at a $50.00 United States Dollars (USD) minimum fee per draft.
The Client is advised to thoroughly review their revised resume copy to check all data for accuracy and completeness. If corrections are needed, the Client is asked to email us send correction requests. Empowered Engagement is not responsible for omissions made on behalf of the Client or incorrect information. We are not liable for false statements provided by the Client.
Because our services are individually rendered in a digital format, our fees are non-refundable.
Empowered Engagement is providing individual and group career coaching services. All services are non-refundable. The purpose of career coaching is to guide the Client towards achieving a career goal or to provide guidance for a career related issue. Coaching provided by Empowered Engagement is not to be used in lieu of professional advice for psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, medical, tax, or other matters generally handled by other certified professionals. Empowered Engagement operates under Georgia state law. No verbal or written promise or guarantee of any job or employment, promotion, job interview, or career/educational advancement is made or implied under the terms of the contract.
Empowered Engagement is providing resume editing services. All services are non-refundable once services are rendered. The intake and evaluation of your current resume and job targets may be determined either via an electronic questionnaire titled “Resume Question Form” or via phone or other media intake. We are not responsible for providing service in the circumstance that the Client fails to email us their initial resume or provide a completed “Resume Question Form” or in the case of the Client provides an incorrect email address. Empowered Engagement operates under the laws of the state of Georgia, USA state law.
